Shift Into Shape Week 3 – Hypnosis and Sleep

Congratulations!!!  You are half way through the 28 Day Shift Into Shape Program.

I’m guessing you are more clear-headed, have more energy, and have tamed some of the cravings you used to have.  I know you were probably expecting another exercise video, but I have a surprise.  Get your zzzz’s.

The Importance of Sleep

A lot of people don’t know that lack of sleep can actually cause you to gain weight.  Did you know that?  At first this may not make sense, because you actually burn less calories while sleeping than almost any other activity. So what gives?

When you don’t have enough sleep, your body builds up cortisol – the stress hormone.  And that causes a lot of metabolic changes inside of you that cause you to pack on the pounds.  You might not like exercise, but everyone likes to sleep.  So be sure to incorporate this into your daily routine.

I have 19 tips that will help you to get the zzzz’s you need.  Your coach will be checking in with you to see how you currently are sleeping and if your sleep improves once you start making these changes.  You can find them here.
