Banana Nice Cream

Thanks for your interest in making this healthy and delicious frozen dessert!  It’s a great way to get more fruit in your diet and you will feel like you’ve just had a delicious ice cream dessert.

Now for the Flavors!!!  The Very Best Part.

Basic Banana Nice Cream

  • 2-3 overripe, frozen bananas
  • Almond Milk to blend
  • Pinch Sea Salt
  • ½ tsp Vanilla extract

Chocolate Banana Nice Cream

  • Ingredients from the basic recipe
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder

Peanut Butter Cup

  • Ingredients from the basic recipe
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

Mocha

  • Ingredients from the basic recipe
  • 1/2 tsp instant coffee granules
  • ½ tsp Ceylon cinnamon

Mint Chocolate Chip

  • Ingredients from the basic recipe
  • 1/8 tsp pure peppermint extract (or more to taste) or a couple drops of peppermint oil
  • stir in chocolate chips or cacao nibs after blending.
  • Optional, blend a small handful spinach for color and an extra nutrient boost.

Berry Nice Cream 

  • Ingredients from the basic recipe
  • 1 cup frozen berries of choice
  • ½ tsp lemon extract or a couple of drops of lemon oil to taste

Pina Colada

  • Ingredients from the basic recipe
  • 1/4 cup canned coconut milk to substitute for almond milk
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • After blending stir shredded coconut

Dreamsicle (Orange) Nice Cream

  • Ingredients from the basic recipe
  • ½ tsp Orange extract or several drops of Orange oil to taste
  • ½ peeled frozen orange separated into segments

Chai Nice Cream

  • Ingredients from the basic recipe
  • 1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ clove

Mango Nice Cream

  • Ingredients from the basic recipe
  • ½ c frozen mango
  • ½ tsp lemon extract or drops of lemon oil to taste

Topping Ideas:

  • Shredded, unsweetened coconut
  • Dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs
  • Chopped nuts like pecans, almonds, walnuts, macadamias or cashews
